John Buck, Jr. appeared in over 80 productions at the Cleveland Play House between 1969 and 1987 as a member of the former resident company of actors.

He also played in over 20 productions at Case Western Reserve University, as a member of The Actors' Company.

Since 1988 he has appeared in more than 20 productions with the Great Lakes Theater Festival, in addition to thirteen years participation in their production of A Christmas Carol.
