What's New at Progressive Field
April 4, 2025
The Cleveland Guardians have a lot of news for the 2025 season.
Curtis Danburg
Guardians Vice President, Communications and Community Impact, Curtis Danburg announced a lot of items from the new campaign at Progressive Field brings with it updated information on ballpark renovations, new food and beverage options, exciting new partner activations around the ballpark, promotional items, and affordable ticket offers for fans to come visit Progressive Field throughout the season. In addition to a revamped Guardians Front Office, fans will be able to experience incredible new ballpark spaces and enhancements completed over the past year come Opening Day 2025. This includes an expansive Terrace District, comprised of the Blue Moon Terrace Garden in left field, the 360° indoor/outdoor Terrace Hall, and the KeyBank North Coast Social.
The Terrace Hall is a modern, “reimagined” beer hall featuring stylish and refined indoor and outdoor spaces – created in the image of “Metropolitan” – for fans to view the game, socialize, and enjoy a wide selection of local craft beers. Attention-grabbing design elements like the CLEVELAND bar globe light feature, as well as an exposed steel and wood baffle bar ceiling, add an industrial feel in a way that reinforces the refined, “retro” styling to the space.

There will be all kinds of special theme nights, giveaways, fireworks and ticket specials. But a fan favorite will be some of the new food items. The 2025 season for the Guardians will feature several new items that have local connections.
The "Turkey Leg Drumstick" looks like Fred Flintstone should be eating it. It's almost 2 lbs. of smoked turkey glazed with BBQ sauce and served with an Alabama White BBQ sauce.

The "Best Damn Cheesesteak" was created in collaboration with Black Box Fix from Legacy Village, and features sautéed Philly meat with onions, provolone, and Swiss cheese, topped with a Cajun queso on a hoagie roll.

We caught up with Executive Chef Vishu Nath from the Cleveland Guardians foodservice partner Delaware North at a media preview day. He explained that while hot dogs, peanuts, popcorn and other ballpark classics will never go away there is always a change of palates that they strive to satisfy. Watch.
Opening Day 2025 will be bittersweet.

We spoke with Curtis Danburg, Vice President, Communications & Community Impact and Bob DiBiasio, Senior Vice President, Public Affairs of the Cleveland Guardians at a media preview a few days before the 2025 home opener. As both commented, it will be bittersweet because of the loss of two outstanding Cleveland baseball people - Larry Dolan and Rocky Colavtio.
Curtis said that there will be a moment of silence to honor the men. Ohio State National Champion hero Jack Sawyer will throw the ceremonial first pitch to Steve Colavito, honoring his father Rocky. Frank Robinson's wife Barbara Robinson and daughter Nichelle Robinson will deliver the line-up card to honor the 50th anniversary of Robinson's managerial debut on April 8, 1975.
Larry Dolan's grandson and namesake, Lawrence John "Jack" Dolan will deliver the official Game Ball to the pitcher's mound. As Bob DiBiasio says, "they will never be forgotten. Watch the video.
