This is a big, colorful book that will give lots of ideas, and step-by-step instructions, to crafters and wannabe crafters.
Creative Computer Crafts: 50 Fun and Useful Products You Can Make with Any Inkjet Printer was written by a 20 year crafter who discovered a whole new world of possibilities when she got her first computer in 1995.
Part 1 consists of three introductory chapters which explain the author's love of crafting and how it has evolved with the software and hardware tools now available. The tools of the trade are explained in the second chapter and ideas for a crafting business are explored in the third chapter.
Then the fun begins in Part 2 where 50 projects are described and explained. You will of course need a computer for the projects and some kind of graphics program. Various paper stocks are suggested in the material list for each project.
Most of the 50 projects are very straightforward and you should have no problem duplicating the procedures and creating your masterpiece. There are a few that require a template and those are provided in the appendix. The appendix also includes online and other resources for crafters.
There are projects for holidays, special occasions, gifts and home decorating. The first project explains how to make a custom wrapper for a candy bar. How neat to give out chocolate bars with professional looking custom wrappers celebrating a big event!
Favor bags, place cards, memory books, photo mugs, magnetic dolls and dozens more projects are presented and many will pique your interest.
After you scan through the 50 projects in the book, you will be inspired to come up with more projects. Have fun!
