To Perish in Penzance:
a Dorothy Martin mystery

By Jeanne M. Dams

Dorothy Martin, widowed American who has relocated to Sherebury, England, and her new husband, retired chief constable Alan Nesbitt, decide to vacation in Cornwall to escape rain and find the sun.

Dorothy also hopes to solve the only case her husband had ever failed to solve…the case of young Betty Adams, found dead in one of the many Smugglers' caves in Penzance thirty years before.

Little did she expect the identical crime to happen to her new friend, lovely model, Lexa Adams or to find out that Lexa was Betty's daughter.

Now she and Alan both are determined to solve both mysterious deaths. What motivated the killer? Greed, drugs…Or deceit? This is a good cozy mystery and a good series.

Walker, 2001.
