The City of Euclid Senior Centers offers a variety of excursions.
Fees are always kept to a minimum. You are eligible to participate if you are a Euclid resident age 55 or older. Seniors sign-up at City Hall and are required to sign a "Hold Harmless" release form and a traveler's information form.
All efforts are made to accommodate people with special needs such as diet, oxygen, etc. and you are encouraged to specify these needs at signup so that arrangements can be made.
As an example of the fun trips you can take advantage of in Euclid, last years trips included visits to Middlefield to explore Amish country, Holden Arboretum, Niagara-On-The-Lake, Carousel Dinner Theater and more.
This year the seniors went to Marion Ohio to see a stained glass shop, a civil war mansion and a vineyard. Plus, they enjoyed lunch in a restaurant featuring a 1930's tiled soda fountain.
All trips are designated as (*) minimal walking, (**) casual walking or (***) more extensive walking trips, so you know what to expect.
For more information and this year's full schedule contact Knuth Center at 289-2985 or Emeritus House at 289-8586.
