Sunscreen in Winter?

Q. If I use a moisturizer or liquid makeup with SPF 15 do I need to apply any more sun protection? I am going on a cruise and want to be sure I'm covered.

Also, I often wear sunglasses in the winter because the sun is so strong. Should I be wearing sunscreen in the winter too? Thank you

A. Yes - sun protection year round is important.

I recommend an SPF of at least 30 and one that is broad spectrum and has A & B protection.

Apply ½ hour before sun exposure and reapply every 3-4 hours.
