Ancho Chile Beer Cheese Soup
Ingredients:
- 4 oz. butter or margarine
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 2 cups diced red bell pepper
- 1 qt. 1 cup light cream
- ½ cup flour
- ¼ cup Durkee ® Ancho Chile Seasoning
- 2 cups beer
- 1 lb. 8 oz. Colby-jack cheese, shredded
Instructions:
whisk together cream and flour and add to vegetables
Add Durkee ® Ancho Chile Seasoning and beer
Cook and stir over medium heat until soup is thickened
Add cheese and stir until melted .
