Cold Cherry Soup
Ingredients:
- 2 cans sour cherries (about 14 ounce cans)
- 2 Cinnamon Sticks
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 cup red wine
- 1 cup cream or milk
- 2 TBS. Flour
Instructions:
- Combine everything except flour and milk in pot.
- Heat - but DO NOT BOIL.
- In a separate bowl mix the flour and milk together.
- Strain flour/milk mixture through cheesecloth and pour over hot cherries.
- Cook until thickened.
- Chill and serve.
