3 Sausage Kabobs

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of thick bacon
  • 2 whole onions peeled and quartered
  • 1 green bell pepper, seeded and cut into squares
  • 1 TBS. flour
  • 2 tsp. Sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup beer
  • 3 TBS. vinegar
  • 8 small new potatoes (if they are too large, cut in ½)
  • 2-3 Bratwurst links, cut into 2" chunks
  • 2-3 Italian Sausage Links, cut into 2" chunks
  • 2-3 Polish Sausage links, cut into 2" chunks

Instructions:

  • Partially cook bacon. Remove from pan, reserving drippings.
  • Add beer,vinegar, sugar and flour to drippings and cook until thicker and bubbly.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Add meat and vegetables and coat completely.
  • Alternate sausage, bacon and vegetables on skewers.
  • Grill 20-25 minutes, basting with excess sauce.
