One of our most popular writers, Amy Kenneley, is the recipient of the Geauga County Library Foundation's 2002 Chapman Award. The annual award is given to an individual who best promotes the interests of reading and books.
Amy has been a member of the West Geauga Friends of the Library since 1986 and since that time has served on the Board in many positions, including President.
In addition to being a wonderful writer, Amy is also a poet and has created an "Oral History of St. Mary Magdalene Church" which can be found at the Western Reserve Historical Society's Library.
Amy has written a number of articles for ClevelandSeniors.Com, including some insightful looks into our past and touching looks at ourselves. She has also contributed articles on Genealogy and tracing your family history.
Congratulations, Amy! The prize is well deserved and we look forward to more of your articles here at ClevelandSeniors.Com.
