Clevelanders know that Cuyahoga means Crooked River in the Iroquois language. If you ever travel on the Goodtime or Nautica Princess or other boat, you will see the numerous hairpin and other bends in the river.

You can see part of the crooked Cuyahoga from the Observation Deck of the Terminal Tower.
