One for the Church

The bishop's sermon to the congregation was about the shortage of priests and nuns. He told them that most of the families were only having one child and they were going into other professions.

He suggested that each family should have three children. "One for the father, one for the mother and one for the church."

A few days later, the bishop was at the supermarket when he saw a pregnant woman from his parish at the end of the aisle.

Before he could say hello, the woman shouted down the supermarket aisle, "This one is yours Bishop!"
