Sure you do - we all do. Some employers are wising up to the advantage of hiring Senior Citizens. Let's face it. Most of us have a very good work ethic - even exceptional by today's standards. We are honest, loyal, dependable and enjoy the work environment.

Many places are looking for part time help, especially now with the holidays not that far away and students back to school. We are often available at hours when others are not. Check the local ads and see what's available.

Have you ever thought about working from home? Your own little business? Spending your hours doing what you do best?

Think about it. Do you enjoy children? Perhaps you could watch your neighbor's children when they come home from school until their parents get home from work. Or baby sit (in your home or theirs) when there's a crisis, doctors appointment or just while they grocery shop. It doesn't have to be an all day, every day job.

Do you like to fuss with pretty things? How about wrapping gifts for busy working people. Put an ad in your neighborhood or church bulletin.

Do you like animals? Want to walk a dog, or just let him out or feed him? How about watching a neighbor's garden, watering when necessary or feeding the birds. Taking their paper or mail in when they are away.

Do you still over-cook the way we are used to doing? Why not offer a service and people can pick up their dinner on the way home from work.

Do you drive? Can you take a person, who can't drive to a doctors appointment or shopping with you?

Are you a carpenter or crafter? Consider getting a stand at a craft fair and sell your wares? Or advertise them on ClevelandSeniors.com and you won't even have to leave the house.

Can you sit with an aged person while their caretaker leaves for a short time? Maybe read to them.
